Do kids in college ever wear cute stuff, or is it always just sweatshirts and sweatpants?

I'm a freshman in college and people wear whatever they normally wear, so basically whatever you wear in high school, you wear in college. All the people who wear sweats all the time are the ones who don't care how they look and just wore sweats in high school. I mean, you don't have to try too hard on how you look because no one's really gonna be critiquing your apparel but you can wear cute stuff without looking out of place
