I spray my cat with water cause it was misbehaving and now he keeps hissing at me how long will he do this?

Your cat seems to be ociating you and not the behavior with the water and that may not be working out to well for you. An alternative method for correcting bad behavior is a loud noise. Put some pennies in an empty soda can , maybe 5 or so, and tape the top so they don't fall out. When your cat misbehaves shake the can a couple of times, but be quick about it, they have to ociate the noise with the behavior that you're trying to correct. This may not totally correct him but it'll stop him from doing it at that moment, and hopefully he'll forget about the water and stop hissing at you. It seems to work well enough for mine.
