Okay my fiance is in Afghanistan and we plan on getting married in April-ish of 2009. Well the thing is, our parents still haven't met... and since he's overseas, it would be even harder to set up a way for them to meet because it's just me here. And since me and my fiance decided we wanted to get married at the courthouse with nobody else there but us, they won't get to meet each other at the "wedding." So my question is, how can I get our parents to meet? I know this sounds strange, but I'd feel kinda silly if i called his parents and asked them out to eat with mine or something... so what should i do?
