I smoked pot, will the police force hire me?

I wouldn't consider marijuana a 'hard' drug so I would be able to truthfully say no. Otherwise just say yes you tried it in college. I'm sure most of them have as well so it wouldn't be like they'll just throw out your application. They'll probably administer a urine drug test and if you p that you should be good unless there's something else about you they don't like.
