Days of our lives, who thinks Doug and Julie should become the new Tom and Alice?

I have said this for a long time now, they have a rich history and Hope could use her Dad and Julie now, not to mention Maggie could use the support. I love their characters and bringing David back would be another Horton. The writers seem to think we want more Hernandez clan and other rejects from shows let go. They need to realize these characters could move in Alice's and always loved when Doug had his club since Maggie has appeared to stop going to her restaurant.
