My LandLord is a crook!! need some advice please!?

You need to get a lawyer. I don't know what the laws are over there but in California a landlord cannot raise your rent without it being in the contract (i.e. raise rent 1% a yr or something like that) and it's illegal for them to just evict you like that. They have to go through all the paperwork and court systems, usually a minimum of 90 days before the tenants can legally be evicted. Sorry I couldn't help more.
