A walk to remember - the ending?

i know its strange for a fish expert to ask this random question, but what happens to jaime at the end of the movie a walk to remember? does she die of something? i also know that its dum to put this question in pets>fish category but its a very noticable question and this section is where alot of people answer questions. i will give 10 points for this quesition thnx :)
