Ladies and gentlemen, how do I get my bf to romance me..?

His idea of romance is having pionate . Don't get me wrong, I love it :) But I just want him to do something to really melt my heart and make me say awww. Hasn't done anything like that in a lonng time. :( Any advice to hint at it, or anything?
